He is putting a NECG Weaver style peep on his Colorado Ultra-Lite plus changing out his front sight to a hooded fire sight.





Also on the list that he is getting is a Lyman 57ML Peep for the flinter..

If the front sight is a red fiber optic I know what you mean. I often see a double image with the red. Other colors I have no trouble with. I solved it by putting on a thin layer of white fingernail polish on the end facing me. The light gathering quality still made it bright but the glare wasn't there. Now I have a sharp image.

I'm thinking of putting this front site on my Deerstalker with the Lyman 57ML peep sight
http://www.hivizsights.com/product/dovm-series/ I find the Grenn shows up before red in the morning and is more visable at dusk..

thats a good sight. I had one on a custom tenn. mountain rifle. Along with their rear sight.

That's a nice set of sights. Nice rifle too.


Like Bronko i sometimes see two red fire sights. That became a non issue when Ft. Sill outlawed fire sights during conventional ML season. Painted mine black.
