Default I can live with this

I took my cousin out today to sight in the CVA Optima V2 he bought off me. He's not too learned on the use of black powder firearms so I gave him a crash course on safety, loading and cleaning.
He asked if I would sight it in for him first. So being the nice guy that I am I obliged. Shooting almost his whole box of 250 gr Shockwaves off just to make sure it was hitting where I wanted I then I left him shoot off a couple to verify.
I'll tell you what. That V2 has a great trigger and the rifle shoots fantastic. Makes me wonder why I spent all that extra money on an Accura?!
But anyway - now he gets to take it home and clean it while I sit here at the computer and sip on hot coffee.

Always nice to dirty someone else's gun. Like you said, the trigger on my Optima is excellent. Just a nice gun for the money.

I usually try to talk Accura lookers into Optima buyers. Save some money and weight but give up very little if anything.

Way to go Bronko. I've sighted in a number of guns for others. But as for cleaning them, I explain in detail how they should do it. I'm even generous enough to coach them along as I sip my beer.

I refer to that as "paying his dues." The price for learning and assistance received.

I enjoy cleaning my inlines, as much as I enjoy shooting them. Plus all my cleaners, lubes and oils are pretty-much odorless, except for the Ballistol, which I use on exteriors and moving action parts.

I enjoy cleaning mine also. Cleaning another guy's gun..... not so much.
