LOL. I'm pretty confident it was the copper plated bullet we found. Happy to be the "elk bugler" that brought him in though. Nothing like a DIY hunt and being successful.

Well I got 6 hat racks already but none that big. But damn, I just don't usually miss when I put down the hammer.

Great bull! I took my NM deer to the meat locker to hang for a few days. Awesome bulls hanging. I took some pics to show how huge these suckers are.

I shot my buck with the 338gr platinum and it dropped. All I heard after the shot was screaming from a friend and my bro in law lol. They saw him drop at the sound of the shot.
