This question got me curious about something. I went to my old ML bullet box and dug out an old box of 300 grain 50/45 shockwaves that had the sabots with. The sabots with them are 4 petal and APPEAR to be MMP EZ loads. There aren't any numbers on the underside (pressure cup) but INSIDE the sabot on the bottom are stamped sequentially 2 to 22 with a couple of repeats of 6 and 21. Mold sequence maybe?

Just so you know the true MMP 3P EZ load is a 3 petal sabot.

The MMP HPH-24 is often called by some a EZ because it loads easier than the HPH-12. Both the 12 & the 24 as well as the thickest MMP Short Black have 4 petals.

Yep. The sabot Barnes calls EZ load is the HPH-24

Ahhh, I've seen it called the 4 petal EZ by several because it is a fairly easily loaded sabot. Any ideas about those numbers inside them?
