Default Almost ready for CO season

Who else is muzzy hunting in CO? Just got the camper backed into the drive way today to clean it out and stock it. Got all the shotguns ready and the muzzy. My dad has the cow elk tag so, hes all set, just got to pick up a box of the 300gr Aerolites at basspro on tuesday and we're ready to roll.

I got my 12g BP shotgun ready, brought 12 loads which should be more than enough considering the time it takes to load a single barrel Just in case though, I brought the 20g pump along as back up. I really am looking forward to Black powder grouse hunting though! I'll do my darnedest to get some action on the video camera.

Really had a glitch though. Bought TWO gps systems, one being a hand held and the other a 7" garmin for the jeep. USPS of course decided to rip open the padded envelope and steal the gps unit but they did leave the manuals for it!

The 7" gps came smashed.

And to top it off, i bought a scope mount for an accura v2 to use as a back up on another hunt i have later this season. It to came smashed!

Don't ship stuff in padded envelopes no matter how well you think its padded! Its not worth it for the buyer or seller in the long run. Pay the extra 2 bucks at the most and put it in a box.

Luckily both gps systems were bought off ebay so that was refunded without an issue. I also got a new mount coming as a replacement which was cool. That helps out with some confidence if something goes wrong with my hawken.

hoo wee, aren't I chatty tonight

LMAO, okay now THAT was just too dang funny. It looks like the person/program whatever just picked some random words to splice in there. I really hope noone has clicked that link as I'm fairly sure it leads to a page full of malware just chomping at the bit to infect your comp.

USPS I never had a problem with, but I have noticed packages i get from them almost look like they were peeked into. You know, a corner flap just a little open, etc. But I have lucked out and never had damage or theft. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Good luck hunting.

Darn Cheesehead Peek-a-Boo Syndrome. Rampant there in Wisconsin.... out-of-control in Green Bay

You would have enough freezer room if you stop trying to put the entire harvested deer in the freezer, prior to butchering it.

Never mind, truck lost the motor less than 2 minutes pulling into driveway. They'll be delivering it.

You blew the engine?
What happened?..... gave it five quarts of Birchwood-Casey Barricade Oil last oil change instead of Pennzoil?

Didn't blow. I pulled into the drive way, and felt the motor shutter and bog down while stopped and so I shut it off. Re-started and rattle rattle rattle. It sounds like a rod but later we said screw it, lets move the truck and trailer out of the way. I dropped it into 4 low, lots of power, smooth and then it runs rough and noisy. I pulled into the new shop area and the engine had quieted down. It either broke a valve spring like an Isuzu I had did once, or a lifter collapsed. Normally with a rod knock, when you rev it and left off, it gives a double knock. This only does it when you rev it and it moves with the RPM of the engine.

I swear, this place is cursed. Every time I or someone else pulls into the driveway, something breaks.
