States requiring more than .40 caliber

The rules are so clearly spelled out in Colorado, I wish all states were like that. No reason to call anyone to be honest.

Been tempted to pick up one of them .45's for some hoggin. Seen vids of them in action. Have to get pretty up close and personal (and make sure you have your big dog 6 shooter ready to pounce) but they do look effective to say the least. Would be a much quieter way of downing some piggies! Especially in comparison to my .458. Dang thing sounds like a bomb going off!

Yes you can Chet, yes you can. Following is a screen shot of the very latest hunting hand book for South Dakota. In the muzzle loading section, it only references the caliber of the rifle. The caliber of the projectile is no longer mentioned. Sweet 'eh.

True True, Just hate it when they change stuff up mid stroke. Major pain in the rear keeping up with all this stuff when you hunt several different states.

I guess i got it in writing after all, so i can delete my voicemail . I talked to then in june i think it was . But this is even better
