I believe its the best penetrating muzzleloading bullet out there. Shot two over the past weekend. Recovered the slug. Almost 80% wieght retention. I was surprised I didn' t get a pass thru. I shot an angled shot at teh shoulder. Found the XTP getting ready to pop thru the hide on the other side of the heart.

Excellant bullet !! I use the 300 grain over 100 grains of loose Pyrodex with great results.
