Corey,

When I worked my last manufacturing job (before they closed our plant) and it was getting near the end, the guys I knew that worked the powder coat booth told me that if I had anything at all I wanted powder coated to bring it in and they would do it. The only thing I could think of was the seat on my Ferguson 30 tractor but the original bolts were rusted so bad I couldn't get it off. Looking back on it now I should have just cut them off with my electric disc grinder and took it in...

They did both black and grey... the grey would have been a perfect match for the original color scheme of the tractor. One of my co-workers brought in a motorcycle frame and they did it for him. Sucks to think that I no longer have that opportunity. Oh well... such is life.

wish I know someone that has that size curing oven. do have a few ideas from an old locker to wood stove pipes to make the oven. thinking my next gun project, a kit muzzleloader build.

polished out a few parts today.

that is not rust on the slide arm, that is the reflection.

How hot does the oven need to get for the curing process? How long at temperature?

the powder coat i use is 400 for 15 to 20 mins. some are higher some are lower, some even use just uv light.

Quick note: these is the first time I have powder coated something other then bullets.
OK I'll bite: bullets?

Excellent work on the powder coating.
