I saw that along time ago. Pretty hard to ruin either one in my opinion.

I have no experience with duracoat, it probably is a fine coating. I do however have several rifles an one shotgun in Black Ice. It is a great coating in my opinion. Only time I ever had a problem was when I scratched one of my barrels while cleaning. I called Lee he said send it back to him, I did and he redid the entire barrel. No charge and it was my fault. So I can't say enough about Black Ice and their great product.

Six shots of 2" groups (with or without open fiber-optic sights) is very good at 50 yards.
I was thinking the same thing especially considering the OP was using 90 grains of powder.
