Default Lehigh XP - Extreme Penetrator Production

Grouse has already introduced the new line of Lehigh XP bullets and today I found a video of the testing of this new bullet.

It is a non-expanding bullet but produces a wound channel very similar to a expanding hollow point hunting bullet EXCEPT that it penetrates a lot further creating an extended wound channel.

This video shows the performance of copper XP pistols bullets, the line muzzleloader line of 'XP's" will be brass and will create an even larger-longer wound channel.

This video, while lengthly, has a lot of valuable information. Hoping that some find some enjoyment in the video.

That is very interesting. Do you have any idea when and where they will be marketed?

I think but do not know for sure - they are starting to manufacturer ML bullets now.

I think Lehigh is going to market them right out of their place to start with.

The plan is to market all of these different type bullet for a variety of applications and weapons

Controlled Chaos
Controlled Fracturing
Match Solid
Maximum Expansion
Multiple Projectile
Xtreme Penetrator

Ed's gun shop has been selling these for awhile now, Carlos did a Video of the XP's and the 300 gr .458 subsonic CF.

XP'S 250 GR. .452----- ( USE HARVESTER SHORT BLACK EASY LOAD SABOT)

305 GR. .458 CF'S----- ( THREE PETAL) (USED THE ORANGE SABOT ITEM NUMBER 0457-.458)

300 GR. .458 SUBSONIC CF'S---- ( FOUR PETAL) (USES THE SAME SABOT AS ABOVE)

Have been testing the XP's sabotless, out of my 45 cal Kodiak, and they have been very accurate.
Carlos also took a deer with the XP bullet out of his SML rifle.

Default Production...

Lehigh Production - The plans are at this moment to get four of the listed muzzleloading brass bullets produced in volume in the next three weeks. They will be available for purchase only from Lehigh Defense initially.

The bullets should start appearing on the Web-Site very soon.

They plan at this time to produce the following styles of Bullets.

XP - Xtreme Penetrator
.400 185gr
.400 200gr
.452 250gr
.452 275gr

This is NOT the exact XP muzzleloader bullet but a good representation of what the bullet will appear like. Instead of the deep rings the bullet will have the normal Knurling Bands to aid in gripping the sabot.

CF - Controlled Fracture
.400 185gr
.400 230gr
.452 250gr
.452 275gr
This is NOT the exact CF muzzleloader bullet but a good representation of what the bullet will appear like. Instead of the deep rings the bullet will have the normal Knurling Bands to aid in gripping the sabot.
