Default getting started

i am looking into getting started in muzzleloading. i dont want to spend too much money, probably less than $350. i was looking at either a T/C XR .50 or a knight wolverine .50. both would be stainless models. which gun is a better value? which one would be a better gun? also which powder and bullets have you had luck with. thank you
