Default Knight DISC 1:20 .45 question

I'm confused as to how to tell which models actually came in 1:20 twist.

Is it only the original DISC rifles (orange disc), or did the .45 Extreme (red disc) come in 1:20 also?

What would the barrel of a 1:20 say? Just DISC?

Another question, do all Extreme models actually say Extreme on the barrel? ie: DISC Extreme

Do any rilfes actually say Super Disc on the rifle?

I saw a .45 in a store a while back that just had DISC on it... no Extreme, and it was a .45. It was used, the store owner had no idea what the twist was. It had a fluted barrel and thumbhole comp stock.

Thanks

I asked the same question and this is the answer I got:

''if yours is a DISC Elite, it is a 1-30

Knight DISC Original 45cal 1-20 cutoff. Serial number change for the .45 twist rate was anything prior to #2291 on mild steel and #5043 on stainless were 1:20 twist.''

Hope this help.

Wait.... anything beyond #5044 is not an orange disc ML in 45-cal?

Lets see...
5043
2291-
------
2752

Is that the amount of 45-cal stainless made in orange disc?

DISC Originals Only... Someone could have converted a Original to the Red DISC but the rifle needs to start life as a DISC Original

What would the barrel of a 1:20 say? Just DISC?
No it does not indicate 1-20
Yes is says D.I.S.C. only

Another question, do all Extreme models actually say Extreme on the barrel? ie: DISC Extreme
If it is an Extreme - it is 1-30
And there some late Original DISC's that that are not 1-20 they switched to 1-30 during the run of that line.

On the rifle NO

All depends on the serial number for the rifle mentioned above...

Serial number change for the .45 twist rate was anything prior to #2291 on mild steel and #5043 on stainless were 1:20 twist

Serial numbers do not relate to Orange or Red DISC - it relates to twist rate

Thanks guys.

Last question... is anyone shooting these with the orange disc's? Or is everyone converting them to the Extreme bolt and NFPJ plug?

I converted mine to a bare primer setup.
