whats the diffrence

hello i would like to what diff in stanless steal and nickle is is one better than the other . and anyone had a nickle i heard the nickle will flake ???????i would like the optima but dont know about the nickle any help please

Stainless steel (416 and variants) is a metal alloy, nickel is a plating . . . as is chrome, zinc, cadmium, etc.
