Default Rmz....... Ru

Purchased one of the Remington MZ rifles in .54 today, which had both the synthetic stock and a bedded wood stock. EXCELLENT condition. Scoped it and it has either been very well taken care of, or shot very little. Couldn't pass it up for $200. I don't believe it will stay "as is" long.......

The new Remington 700 Ultimate that an owner wanted me to setup, is now also in the safe. The scope he ordered should show up soon, then will be mailed to me. He gets the rifle setup, I get to play with one of the new RU rifles.

I picked up a Remington 700ML with the Hunter 209 kit allready installed recently,

Took it to the range and with 100 Grains of BH209 some of the MMP purple Sabots and some .500 Sierras it was shooting honest to god 1" groups at 100 yards. To say I was stoked would be a understatement, it's a pleasure to shoot and very well balanced.
I got some .54 cal Powerbelts I want to try as well. Just ran out of daylight.
I may get addicted to this.

I don't intend to leave this one "as is" but to use it as a donor.

I would not mind picking up another .54 cal to have as a back up. If you ever run across a nice clean one that your willing to sell at a fair price let me know.

Man, thats a nice looking rifle!

One of those is on my list of "wants" -- unfortunately I don't have any friends like that.

Here's what it looks like with the wood stock. I noticed right off, that the forward bolt needs to be longer.
