O'l Dad was shown up by my Son this year. While I had a few encounters,I was unable to close the deal in the 2014 Season.
However, My Son took this dandy Muley.

It was at about 130 Yards
300 SST
100 BH209
TC Omega
Double Lung Pass Through
Not bad for a kid that just shows up and hunts. I'm counting on the tables turning him taking me as the years pass by.

nice buck congrats to your son.teach a boy to hunt and he'll remember you when you're old and feeble.
don't know if he cares or not but a good taxidermy man can fix those busted points so you'd never know they was busted.

Only the one tip on the left front buck was busted. It seems our deer are always busted up. I don't know if its the high deer count or the dry conditions but something contributes. It's rare to find a large deer with a complete rack.
I wish they would do more loving and less fighting.

pic looked like it was both points but no matter , still eats the same.it's dry climate here also and we get same thing.I don't fix them , myself. figure it just adds character to the rack. but I'VE seen some that have been repaired and you can't even tell
