Is that a Knight? I just don't understand why someone thinks they can get away with using smokeless in a non smokeless rifle.

Directly from the IN DNR Facebook page. This is the entire write up.

"Corporal Eric Doane worked a firearm accident last night in Martin County that resulted in the shooter losing a couple fingers. This is what can happen when you shoot smokeless powder out of a muzzleloader designed for black powder."

As The Duke said, “Life's hard. It's even harder when you're stupid!”

I've owned my Savage smokeless for over a decade now. I LOVE that gun but STILL cannot believe that there are MORONS today who STILL think they can get away with smokeless in a BP gun... especially a cheap lil ol Knight like that!

That thing could have blown up in his face too. So I suppose losing two fingers is better than losing two eyes.

What a dolt that guy is. But wishing him healing very quickly in his recovery and his new adapting powers, for he may be physically-forced now, to becoming a left-handed shooter.

Guy did a job on that nice Knight rifle. He's lucky.
