need some help
I've have a 45cal Hawkins the trouble is that it hit 6" high at 50 yard and the back sight is all the way down. I'm using 60 grain of Hodgdon pyrodex FFG with a .445 lead round ball. What can I do to bring it down.

Nope. The same post (with slightly different titles) appeared in both the regular BP forum and the Reference forum. You answered the one that first appeared in the regular forum and your answer is still there. See the thread titled need some help with black powder

Well, ruger 204 posted his question in the Reference forum first. Then must have realized that was the wrong place for a post like that, and reposted in the regular Black Powder forum.
JW moved the original post out of the Reference forum because it did not belong there and would just clutter up the reference material.
I don't think it has anything to do with JW's well know drinking problem.
