Some would agree. That load posted on the target makes roughly 3000fps at the muzzle or very close to it. The bullet is near slip fit and required very little effort to load it.

Damn! That's close to fast CF speeds.

A 375H&H sends a 270gr down range about 2700fps
A 338WinMag gets it out the muzzle around 2500fps
A 416Rem Mag will launch a 300gr around 2700-2900fps and a 458Winmag is around 2600fps.

I would say the Hankins ML rifle is up there and so are the Swinglocks.

Yeah, it is when you consider bullet weight. I was thinking more about the smaller calibers.

How's the recoil?

Ive never shot mine that hot but a 275gr at 2600fps without a break is about all i care to endure on a bench. It felt like a 300gr at 2450fps was way more pleasant to me.
