Default The things you can see

I got a camera to look in my barrels. here are some pictures.

My Knight. Not much to see since you can take out the plug but I added it.
As a recap, the Renegades are Green Mountain Stainless 1-28 twist barrels.

Here is my two trigger Renegade.

My single trigger renegade

One thing I saw is the two trigger gun has the flash hole that goes straight into the powder. The single trigger gun it enters more on the side. I can't help but wonder why and if it makes a difference. One thing is for sure it is a fun new toy to play with.

very good idea to have one if not for anything else but to check bores of rifles. I always worry about the bore of my rifles. Great pics and great idea!!

Do you use a scraper to clean out the flash channel on the Renegades?

They seem a little clogged, but maybe that just the way they look in a picture.

Wow that is pretty cool. And I can't believe the finish on the Renes' breechs. They are clean but looks like they are not very smooth. Could that be erosion?

I think when they drill them that leaves the metal edge you're seeing. Here are some pictures of a new never fired Green Mountain 45 fast twist Stainless. I bought this barrel a couple years ago and have had it stored until I took it out to take these pictures.
