You may wonder why this is on topic, well they supply several companies like Boyds with blanks. Rutland had the equipment to make 4"x8" and larger blanks.
Boyds supplies OEM services to many ML/CF companies as well as aftermarket vendors.

Boyds are well worth the money especially if you dont mind adding your own pillars. EABCO sells a laminate for Savage with pillars for about the same price as a Boyds plus the cost of the pillars. They will also open up the barrel channel for you if needed.
