thought I shot good with a renegade 50cal 490 balls 70 gr pyrodex .10 patches I missed 2 shots at 80 yards...this is my buddy scott shooting

this is my prize.....I lost points for dress and not starting fire, tied for tenth place lost 2 hawk throws and came in 12th shooting I would have tied for 5th lol it was a great day

that looks like a nice rendezvous. The idea of being period correct, some vous are strict, others are not. I was at one many years back and a person came out of his lodge wearing a Budweiser T shirt. I couldn't believe he would dress that far "out of character" but to each their own. Although they did not let him participate in events.

they've been changing things around...I used to shoot in a div called modern hunter ( they were trying to get more people interested in muzzleloading only rule is you have to shoot round balls)sometimes only 5 people would shoot in this div. there was only 2 kids under 18 shooting today that's a problem because the people running the meet are getting old.....I really enjoy the shoots and everyone's super nice, there happy to see someone into blackpowder.
