Another vote for the Simmons ProDiamond 4X. I have 3 of them now on my muzzys and have been very happy. Clear, 100% reliable and good eye relief. I've taken deer out to 150 yards with this scope. For a muzzleloader, you really shouldn't need more than 4X unless your eyes aren't too great, or you have a rig set up for shooting longer ranges.

You should jump on the 3-10x40 Powderhorn while it is still on sale for $49 (normally $100). I don't think anything can touch that for the $$. You will still have plenty left over to get a decent set of rings/base.

Although I have to disagree with you on the clarity issue. I can see better, shoot more accurately with a clear 4x than I can with a not so clear 9x. IMO, with a scope, clarity trumps power almost every time, especially in low light conditions.

I haven't read the other posts, so I don't know if this has been posted, but this is a great deal for a muzzleloader. Free shipping too.

I just ordered my Redfield Revenge today. $88.00 and that warranty, you just can't beat it!

I think the Powderhorn from Cabalas is a great bargain. I got mine mounted on my Knight Vision and she is dead on!!! Think I paid $49.95 for it.

I am going to have to agree with you.

I like Leupold and Redfield products and $88 for piece of mind beats $49 for throwing money into the wind.
