Default T/C 7194 tang peep sight

This is one of my favorite peep sights for the Hawken and Renegade rifles. They are getting scarcer than hen's teeth to locate.
But I have a friend who owns a pretty big machine shop who can probably start making them. I'm sure the patent rights have ran out on this.
My question is how many guys in here would buy one if the price was reasonable - something like $50 - $60?
I'll use you guys as a marketing survey.

I too am a fan of those sights because of how compact and effective they are. They are not user friendly to adjust, but once you get then set for a gun's pet load they are rock solid.

Don't need any at present, but I spent a lot of time finding one two years ago and know how hard they are to find these days. If I didn't already have peeps on my two TC Hawkens I'd be quite happy to pay $60 for one.

I'll tell you what, I've thought about this many times. It is a good idea. $50 or so seems more reasonable than the $100+ which seems to be the going rate.
Personally, I like them much more than that vernier sight I mounted last month.

3 or 4 years back I searched for these online & Dirt Cheap came up with some for......$9! I only bought two, wish I bought more.

For today that is a good price for a peep sight. Brownells is selling the Marble tang mounted peep for 129.00 this year.
I think that the Lyman # 2 and the Marble tang mounted peeps will work fine on a T/C Hawkins of renegade.

This is a T/C tang peep sight on a T/C Hawkins.

The TC peep is ok if you just want to set the sight and leave it. I like the ability to adjust the sight for each shot. The Lyman is the better unit for that. Ron

I like the Marble arms peeps better than the lyman #2 on my 04's. The T/C works great on a Muzzle loader though.
