Will hoppes #9 elite gun cleaner damage a camo finish.

Since I use BH 209 powder I use the new Hoppe's elite cleaner and it works great with no adverse effects. I see no reason it would harm any of the factory applied camo products. You can always test it on a small area of the stock or barrel first to be sure and I'd sure check on any Do It Yourself product.

I doubt it. But I always either remove the action from the stock for cleaning or at a minimum, place a cloth over the stock to catch any drips from the cleaning patch. That has always been SOP for me.
