Default Knight 45 Super Disc and Ohio!!

I decided for Ohio gun season I'm gonna shoot the 45 super Disc and the 230grn Lehigh/Bloodline. I don't think Knight is offering this bullet yet. After looking at the first three shots closely, I decided not to touch anything. It was pretty windy but I'm happy.

Grouse45

That is what I was using for the first part of our deer season here. But I did not get a chance to use it. The trips that I did get out - no bucks - just does and then I did not get to go as often as I would normally get to go because of coaching duties. Then would you right after I put the Super DISC away and switched to the U-Lite - I ran into a buck...

This is my Super DISC, but I have now pulled the wood stock and switched to a U-Lite Kevlar stock on it...

Get a big one Tom

What's a Super Disc compared to a Disc Extreme?

A Super DISC is really an Original DISC, pre Extreme. We have upgraded ours from the Original DISC bolt and breech plug to a Extreme bolt and a Lehigh/Knight NFPJ breech plug... But the big thing is the Super DISC, depending on the serial number comes with a 1-20 twist bore... I found one here in a local store - brand new never been shot and sent it to Tom - but I think he is using one of his other Super DISC's for the Ohio hunt.
