Gun season
Arkansas gun season opens tomorrow. I'm gonna be hunting the bottoms with a muzzy. I have pics of some descents bucks and one big black boar. I have never seen a hog in the bottoms before. If I'm lucky maybe o ne will show up.

Good luck. Our gun season starts today as well however I opted not to hunt it. I've gone out for it a couple years but we're surrounded by idiots that start firing off random shots to "get the deer moving." Besides the part where it's illegal (this usually starts before legal shooting light) and dangerous, I've also yet to see a deer during firearms season. I'll wait until muzzleloader season that starts the 30th and hope things have calmed down by then.

Our gun season starts next saturday. Had a friend tag a 300# black bear yesterday with a ML gun. Will know more details when I get back up there tomorrow.
Still trying to fill my freezer. Got two small does, but need more. Got four tags left and need to use most of them. Venison is the most meat my family consumes. Don't eat much beef. Don't like all the junk/crap stuff they put in them now!!!
