We have an Encore and an Omega, and have several breech plugs. I notice that 2 have a shallow dish face and one has a deep face pocket. Which is the newer design? Is one better for loose powder and one for pellets?

The deep dish is the newer design, although it's been around for quite a few years. It is more versatile and should be good for both pellets and powder, including BH209.
