Thinking about trying to head out there next year to hunt mulies and was wondering if a 209 ignition will work on my Mountaineer or if I will need to convert it over to a #11 cap? any info will be very helpful. thanks.

If you're asking in reference to the regulations for their muzzleloader season, there isn't one so you can shoot whatever you want. Several years ago before I moved from there there were a few groups trying to get a special permit muzzleloader hunt for a couple small areas. I believe they succeeded but don't know the rules regarding it. I think it's a draw area and traditional only. But overall, if you want to hunt with a muzzleloader, shoot whatever you want and have fun.
