Selfish dad

This Saturday Is opening for antelope for the kids . It also happens to be opening archery deer for me . Guess who is going hunting?

I know , but I thought it might be good to teach the kids that the world don't revolve around them. It wasn't an easy decision

Also there is a herd of antelope 1 1/2 miles from the house on public hunting . I did tell them that if they were there I would take them to try their hand at harvesting one. So it's possible they might get to go in spite of my selfish inclinations

A little bit of enlightened self interest is a healthy thing. Leave the guilt at home along with the kids and enjoy a stress free hunt every now and then. It's good for everyone.
