OK...Semi asked about our first, now how about your last???

I'll start...




Eight pointer, killed the first morning of rifle season here in North Carolina, in the Uwharrie National Forest...

Now you know why I brought this up.....

Only killed one last season. I generally take two does each year and the first 8-pointer I see. But we let the does walk last year because the herd in our area had been hit by disease during the Summer. But at least the Swamp Dragon was able to feed on this little buck.

Ed, no, I guess it's similar...I built that back in the 80s to resemble an early North Carolina rifle actually...Our early gunsmiths moved down here from Pennsylvania, bringing their rifle making tradition with them...

Last September. Won't get a chance at them this Sept. I'll use a Muzzy during the Dec. rifle season. I hope t be able to post my Elk in a couple of weeks.
