Default Hawken fans

There is a green mountain sharpshooter barrel , 50 cal 1:24 twist with Wm Malcolm scope on it in the classifieds. It's never been shot .
Would make a great long range conical shooter or sabots out to a couple hundred yards.

Ive heard those are one of the best barrels GMB ever made. IIRC they are cut rifling instead of button and very uniform. The LRH barrels are very nice but the SharpShooters were the Cadillacs.

Yep you are right . I just wish they had sold just the barrel but they only sold them with the Malcolm scope . That's part of the reason why I never shot it or even put it on the stock .

As I recall they sold for $399 from GM.

My InvestArms Hawkens doesn't have a GM barrel, but with a Leatherwood scope on it:



I am amazed at how accurate you can be with this setup!!!

I viewed the GM barrel and cope setup, but thought it was way too expensive for my taste!
