The past few days when possible, the Dream Season, i, and some different bullets have been up in the hills doing some shooting. The Dream Season has a 4X scope equipped with a CDS dial. An Harris Bipod was mounted on the rifle, and the shooting was done from prone, or using a make shift bench. The powder charge was, for all bullets, 90g of Black Horn Powder, and the primer used was the W209. Because of chores, and duties the shooting was never done early, and there was always a breeze to contend with.
After the 250g partition had it' chance, i had a strong desire to try it at 200 yard, even though the breeze was stong and gusty. The CDS dial was loosened, adjusted to fit the impact of the 250g bullet, tightened, and a move was made out to 200 yard. A nice grassy spot was found out at 215 yard, so that one could be comfortable shooting from prone. The breeze vector was mostly from behind, so it seemed shooting might be done without damaging the target frame. Considering the gusting breeze, which seemed to be 15-30 mi/hr, the 215 yard target isn't too bad.
