Default Took the Omega to the range

I got to take the Omega to the range this morning. It was a little windy but I decided to give it a try any way. I was using 110gr of BH209 with a Win. 209 primer and a .452 300 gr. Gold Dot in a Harvester Short Black sabot. There was absolutely no blow back around any of the primers. I really like the feel of the new thumbhole stock. Here are a few pics from the range.

Shot 1 was on a clean cold barrel.
Shot 2 and 3 were made after waiting 5 minutes to allow the barrel to cool. This was to see where the gun wuld group on a fould barrel.
Shot 4 was after I moved the scope three clicks to the left
Shot 5 AHHHH thats more like it.
Shot 6 was after I adjusted the scope up three clicks.

After this I decided to try to shoot a group but the wind was just blowing to hard and the group was spread out to the right. 15- 20 mph left to right quartering to me. Oh well, maybe next time. All shooting was done at 100 yards.

Nice! Looks like a pretty nice load. Good looking gun too

Shooting them thumbholes is nice for sure, especially at the range.

Darn good shooting there SHulion. Heck, those five shots on a fouled barrel would be a good 100 yard group even without any scope adjustments between shots. It's an especially good group considering the adjustments.
