Another new Scope... Redfield Revenge
#1
With a new thought...
I have been hearing about this new Redfield scope, built by Leupold in Oregon. The Redfield Revenge.... Ok for name? but what was it really. Grouse got one installed on his new Vision by Knight. He called about it on the land line, well the new gun also, but the scope caught my attention...
He has shot it and was really giving it good words and the targets that he showed from his adventure with the new Vision were not slouch either considering this was the first trip and first shots from the gun.
The reticule has grabbed my attention, it is not near as busy as the Ultimate Slam and has a built in range finder - seems easy enought to use.
The Accru Range finder reticule comes in two varieties, a hunter edition for modern Centerfire Guns and a Sabot version for shotgun/muzzleloaders.
HOWEVER, I do believe that even with the range finder and the range dots you will need to shoot the long distances with the dots and verify the POI...
And the price really is not out of sight... along with its lifetime warrant, fast focus Eyepiece and quality Luppy lens...
Here is a video that shows the features...

Here is the web site for further investigation...

I bit... and order one last night - why? I am not really sure because I have extra scopes - but I guess I just want to know....
What do you think?

The Revenge is actually built in the Philippines. The Revolution series is built in Oregon. Its not a knock, my Nikon Omega is built there too. I have 3 of the 2x7x33 Revolutions and the Accurange in those is just like the Ultimate Slam. Kinda busy for my tastes but i like the center circle for up close. The Accu-Ranger in the Revenge is much different and imo looks much better.

I think they look nice, and they appear to be a pretty decent quality scope too. Buddy of mind has the revolution, I think its pretty nice for the money.
I still don't like the cluttered reticle personally, though its a little better. All that stuff to me it just makes it more complicated to focus on the target, and really for shots out to 150...you just don't need it. I could see if you did alot of long range hunting, but then I'd probably want a better scope if I did alot of that.
Let us know how she does SL

An interesting scope for sure. Does this require a battery? And they say, "generous eye relief" ... well what to them is generous and what's the over all length. I can't find the specifications of the scope on that site you posted. Maybe looking in the wrong place. But it does look like an interesting scope.

Dave, I just found the specs for these scopes. I'm like you, they look interesting. I may have to give one a go. Paul
