Scott, I am not positive but I am going along with you that 50 Mountaineer had to one of the 1-24 Prototypes...

I have shot the Lehigh Defense 40-230FT bullet with 90-100-110-120 grains of T7-2f and a MMP Blue 40x50 sabot - no problem stabilizing. It is so darn accurate it is almost scary

Im pretty sure 1-24 will work fine.

I hope they continue in the "faster twist" direction in both calibers. I know Green Mountain used to make a 50cal 1-24 barrel called a Sharp Shooter. The barrel was excellent quality cut rifling but it was only sold with a Malcom scope.

Very cool video. Thanks for the link. There were links to other long range shoots beneath that video that were cool also. Would not have seen them had you not posted. Thanks!

Could Knight offer custom barrels of the consumers choice? Add .. Buyer premium and just not have the 200 yard guarantee

There are prototype Mountaineer 1/24 twist barrels.

I'd like to see them have a "customize it" page at some point. You click the stock style and color you want, barrel, ignition, sight style or scope (if you wanted one), etc. That would be cool.

To much inventory and part numbers. I really dont see that happening in todays market.

If barrels were more consistent as far as bore size I think there would be a good possibility of that happening . Right now there seems to be quite a variation in bore size between different companies . At least there is between my T/c , Knights , whites etc with the Whites being the most consistent .
I personally would like to see a Lehigh made for my .451 whites .
They also have the best twist for each caliber in my opinion .
.504 is 1:24 , .451 is 1:20 , .410 is 1:16

Its wouldn't take much to offer cosmetic upgrades like a silver finish trigger guard/secondary safeties, gold trigger and jeweled bolts. They already exist or have been offered in the past, just not on all models. Some of the Master Hunters had all of them and it really looked nice.
