Default The trade rifle

Well I didn't get to the gun shop today. But I called and they pulled the rifle from the rack and put my name on it. Will get it later this week. Snowing pretty good right now. Roads are horrendous.

Sounds like a wise choice. I am sure this cold weather we are experiencing will be headed your way. Just plain nasty out. Wind chills tonight of up to 45 below zero. So I think I will stay inside.

I bet you are excited about that Trade Rifle.

Well I went to the shop to pick up the Trade rifle today and found out there was an 'accident' with it. Someone's jacket caught the muzzle as they were walking by and knocked it off the rack and the put a nice ding in the end of the barrel when it hit the concrete floor. Needless to say I didn't buy it. Oh well I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Wouldn't they sell it cheaper with the ding? Put the savings towards a GM barrel.

Shucks, offer them $50 less and recrown the barrel. No big deal, even if you have to take a half inch off of it.

I have to agree with Semisane. I would have tried to make a deal. But I can understand you turning the rifle down.
