I cut my hand inside the first deer I ever shot. About three days later I had a fever that I thought was going to fry my brains out.Lasted about 2 days. The doctor thought I had some reaction to the deer blood. I read in Field and Stream a week later about parasites and other junk in deers blood that can cause a human to get sick like I did. Sure hope it doesnt happen to you. Congratulations on your deer.
