No, that is a summer project... I did try to drop the Lightening into a 97 laminate stock - but the safety on the wrong side prevented that unless I did some inletting...

This one does appear to have a laminate stock?? Gonna have to ask some more questions

Mine does not have a laminated stock it is beech stock very light.

The pistol grip area is considered to be the weak spot... but I will not be shooting heavy concicals from it very often so I am not to worried about it. But: I am going to put a hardwood dowel in the grip this summer.
