Default T/C Encore 209x50

Tighten screws on bottom of barrel where forearm attaches, new Warne mounts.Burris Signature 1.5x6.Last year the best groups I could get at 100 yards was 4-5 inches with three 50 grain pellets, had to drop back to two 50 grain pellets and settle for 2-3 groups at 100 yards. This year with new monunt, tighten screws shooting three pellet with 250 Shockwave,MV 2138,one inch groups at 100 yards three inches high, with 3 inch groups at 200 yards three inches low.I think most of my problem last year may have been the loose screws. Now I have a 200 yard muzzle loader like I though I purchased last year.

I don' t quite understand... Your saying that by tightening the fore stock screws, your groups became tighter...??

The mounts on the barrel where the forearm screws screw into where loose. They attach to the barrel, not the forearm screws themselves. Also never did like the Weaver mount,I think the Warne' s are much better altough they are over twice the price.

Floating the forearm as best you can makes a BIG difference here.
