Snow

Well we got our snow Christmas night and it was a dandy to. We got about 12 inches down in the river bottom where I was hunting. The Triumph didnt get to go boom, but it was a pretty sight. Rarely do I get the chance to hunt with a gun in the snow. This is a pic of my turnip patch covered in the white stuff. The high managed to hit 30 with the wind it made for a cold hunt, but the ground blind helped a bunch. I forgot how much fun it is to walk in a foot of snow. We were under a blizzard warning with drifts up to 3 feet. Semi should have been up here hunting lol.

About 3" on Christmas eve here which made for a beautiful Christmas morning
Then about 5" more yesterday. We still have a week and a half left of hunting, but I've been fighting a chest cold so not sure I'll get back out. Love hunting in the snow, and about half the time we get a few days with some snow on the ground during hunting season. I'm with BP....for me, once hunting season and Christmas are over - I could care less if we get any more. Usually doesn't work out in my favor though. LOL

High winds, rain here temps were borderline for snow decided to hold off bow hunting till tomorrow supposed to be warmer. In about 2 weeks special shotgun/muzzle load season opens here week days till end of January.A light I repeat light snow cover would be appreciated then.
