Default A merry Christmas for me

A new barrel for my Endeavor, a generation one Yukon night scope and anight hand scope. The wife new I was planning a hog hunt. So far 9 of our group have signed on and that many more have expressed interest. Since they mainly move at night and its legal to hunt them here at night if should be interesying.
We are planning to wait until it starts warming a bit but before the leaves come in the spring. My new equipment is Generation one which means short range but 50 yards should be fine for hogs in the brush. Lots of fun ahead.

Sounds like fun but also sounds a little dangerous. A bunch of guys moving around in the dark with loaded weapons, how do you do it? What is the new barrel?

Sounds like some excellent equipment. Should make for a great hog hunt. Good luck.

We set up feeders and carefully plan the direction of the shots so most are down and into the hills, this is big thick woods but we do not take any chances.

We have lined up a spot down by Texarkana where a fellow is being over run by feral pigs and ask a friend of mine who is related to him to bring enough guys down for a surrond hunt. Shoud be interesting and fun. He has a 150 acre farm and will feed in a circle around its perimiter and set up stands for us.
