Default TC firestorm range report with questions?

Took my TC firestorm .50 to the range today. All shots were fired from 25 yds, and all consistantly about 1" low and 5" to the left. I was shooting 90 grains on 2F goex, and tried .350 maxi-hunter, .490 round with pre-lubed .015 patch, and .245 grain powerbelt. I attempted to move the sights up, and to the right but the shots would move no closer to the bull. Do I change powder increments, diff patches, or some other kind of sabot?

You adjusted the sights and your POI did not move? That is strange. I would really wonder why? Were you swabbing? I really don't know what to say. I never had a problem like that. Where you move the sight but nothing changes. I wonder if playing with the powder charge would help.

Iron sights or scope? Ive seen this happen on rifle ranges with the ACOG and guys making ajustments but it not moving. How many shots did you make how bold where your ajustments. The closer you are the more bold ajustments need to be to see it move on the paper.

I have seen this only on scopes that someone tightened the rings down too tight. Was it a scope?

Well after a 2nd day at the range I have my hunting load figured out. Set my target at 20 yds even, and began with 80 grains 2f., and a 350 grain maxi-hunter. Shots were again consistanly low. Went to round balls, and .248 powerbelts all about 3" low. Upped the powder charge and tightened the grouping but still low. I then moved the rear sight and the maxi-hunters stayed low, round balls were about 2" low, and the powerbelts hit about 1" high. Moved the target back to 50 yds and was able to stack the powerbelts 1/2" high of the bull at that range, and at 75 I was about dead on. So I will be sticking with the .248 grain aero tip powerbelt with 90 grains of 2F goex.

I'd work harder on getting the maxi working. I wouldn't trust a 245gr PB for anything but squirrels.
