Default reboring a TC hawken barrel

Would it make any sense, to take a old TC hawken barrel that is a 45 cal and have it bored out to 50 cal. The old 45 cal barrel I receved from a friend, the bore is rusted pretty bad, I was wondering if it would cost alot to have it bored out to 50 cal and have 1 in 28 twist rifleing put in it. and if so, who does than kinda stuff.
How much would you think I would have to spend ?

Thanks, Steviebiggun

I think by time you have it done by the right person. you could just got and buy an GMB replacement barrel with a 1/28 twist.

did a quick search, rebore from one place. low $220 plus a $5 dollar charge per caliber for anything over 4 calibers
gmb.
