Default Now you guys have me thinking.

Something that is extremely dangerous. I know the local gunshop has a couple Renes and Hawkens on the used rack. I may just have to go down this week and grab a Rene and get a .58 cal GM barrel for it.
I know I don't need it but I don't have one. Probably very little difference between the .58 and the .54. And that shop has a bunch of used inlines too. Omegas, Pursuits, Triumphs, etc. If anyone is interested in any of them let me know and I will check the price and the condition. He will hold any for me.

See....being a part of this free msg board can actually get expensive bronko... LOL

I was at a halloween party last night, and a lady was telling us how her husband convinced her to let him join a hunting club - it was only $300 a year. So he joined and had to get a new rifle, treestand, and four wheeler. His $300/yr turned into $8000 (so far) and he hasn't gotten any deer yet. LOL.

Not sure i'd say there wasn't much difference between the .58 and .54. I think you'll notice it in every way. Just like I see quite a difference from a .50 and .54.

I'm not sure you can ever get the .58 to shoot as flat as the .54. Unless you love recoil.

I'm pretty sure I can't afford one till sometime after Christmas, but I've been wanting to have a renegade for quite some time if you happen to be in there looking around. I'd be interested to hear what they're going for.
