Can We Say Hurricane!!!!!
 

I had all my stuff ready. Went shopping for my food provisions and was ready to go into the woods and do what I have been waiting for all year!!! Then this darn hurricane comes along and decides to mess with me and all the hunters on the east coast.

Can't leave unit next week sometime thanks to this stupid hurricane. I am depressed. I guess I will have to go and sit in front of the TV and watch those stupid hunting programs.

Oh yeah, forgot to say that I left my bow up at my trailer at my hunt property 3 hrs from my house. If I had my bow I could have gone to the local piece we have and at least give that property a go!

Weather can do that to you. We had some heavy rains last night. Some real thunder storms and winds. But no hurricanes like you at least. Hope you get in the woods soon.

I am waiting for that sucker to come on through as well. Its supposed to cool on down next week and I am hoping that cool weather will help get the bucks up and moving around some. For now, just watching the weather......

Me too. It is supposed to get colder next week and that is a good thing. I even hope it snows!!!

I'm hoping it will blow out to sea and head east!

Luckily I'm not heading to VA until the 2nd to get there in time for opening week of ML. So I should be coming after all the weather. That does suck for all the East Coast hunters though.

I was kind of hoping that thing would come this way, but as a tropical system - not a hurricane. I planted my food plots on Oct 6th and haven't had a drop of rain on them yet.

Sorry to hear that rafsob! Yea that darn hurricane is suppos-to possibly come up the coast and turn in to NYS. I live on the other end of NYS near the lake erie shore close to the PA line. They say if this storm hits us it will be a RARE Noreaster and a BAD one at that.
We had our Indian summer yesterday here, we broke a record temp, it was almost 80 degrees and today it will be 70, to warm to hunt. But by Monday night if this storm does what they think we'll be in the low 30's and get some Snow. But there worried about the winds also. Thigs will be bad on tuesday and wednsday also from this storm.

That doesn't sound like much fun. I had the fun of experiencing 3 hurricanes when I lived in Florida. Best of luck to you, and hopefully it will blow through without much damage...

Just checking the updates on the Hurricane... Wow! You guys hang tough and hope everyone gets through this thing one piece!

Look on the bright side. It could be that the foul weather will serve to concentrate the deer movement to the days after the storm. It is exactly the time you will be in the woods.
