I was on Knight's website yesterday and seen they have a newer plug for the original disc and says under details:
Continuing in our tradition of bringing innovation to the muzzleloading industry, we redesigned our breech plugs to better accommodate todays modern black powders. Now you can shoot more and clean less! Has anyone heard the results with this plug and BH or used one themselves? |
If i read right, if the primer is pushing the powder and bullet out of the barrel with the misfire, I would think a tighter fitting sabot would be in order, BH 209 likes the bullet firmly seated on the powder and I would think that would not be possible with such a loose fitting sabot.

I may just try to call them and find out, what they say...

well shoot!!! They said it does not and the only way to get the original to shoot consistanatly is to convert.
