That really did bleed well. And yes it was a little far back. Did he stink when you dressed him? The main thing is, you got a great buck and a great memory. Congratulations.

Thanks, yeah he did stink but not much from the shot, more from the glands on his hind legs. Seems like he was getting ready, neck was 26 1/2". I caped and quarted him right away. Hunt took place 5mins from my house, got a nice skining shed at my brothers place. Texted a buddy who showed up to help me hang him. Meat's in a cooler outside and the head and cape are getting done. Cant wait to see him on the wall.

gman, I used a Samsung video camera and used my Kodak Playsport to do the track and recovery.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izXv3...ature=plcpThis video shows the blind and the camera setup.
