Yea the gun shot great at first before I started obsessing about cleaning it! hopefully I can make it to the range next weekend. I'll post an update after my second trip.

12 shots should be easy with Pyro and a PRB. Unless you have a really tight fitting patch.

I have shot over 20 rounds using black powder without swabbing. It depends on the patch, the lube, the humidity, the temperature, lots of things affect fouling. But I always judge whether a rifle needs to be swabbed by the feel of the range rod as I seat a projectile. If what I feel just is not right to me, then I swab before the next shot.
