First I'd like to thank all of you for your great advice. I picked up my CVA Accura from Cabela's Friday. I had it mounted with a Leupold Ultra Slam scope. My Blackhorn 209 breech plug was waiting for me when I got home from work tonite. I ordered it before I even bought the rifle. I picked up a box of Winchester primers (blue box) a box of Hornady 300 GR SST'S and a some 290 GR Barnes Split-Fire T-EZ'S and of course a can of Blackhorn 209. I do need your advice about the shim kit. Since it will be a couple of weeks before a can try out the rifle should I just go ahead and order it now, and should I install them too a certain thickness before I even start. Sorry for the long post. This is all new to me. I'm an old 54 cal. Patched round ball kind if guy. Thanks for any help you give me. Good Hunting

with the W209 primers and western powders breech plug, you may not even need the shim kit.
