We had that problem also Halfbaked. Solved it by raking up pine needles to cover the floor.

A lot of good pork laying there. What was used to shoot that one?

A .22 magnum. He required two shots. Sometimes they bleed like that when shot in the head.

Im starting to really like hog hunting, just dont like cleaning or dragging them out. Way worse than a deer.

mann..i tried burying it with sand(natural soil round here) about 2-4 inches,
and they still wouldnt go in there...waste of money for the trap lol
had to cut the floor out and stake it down.

The hogs on one place i trap did not like a floor. But they enter the trap when its baited with corn and strawberry jello. All of our traps are at feeders hogs frequent. If they won't enter the trap i shut the feeder off: After a few days theres hogs in the trap.

That must be an exciting hunt...bait them into a box and then shoot em' in the head.
No thanks.
